Participants: Ruben van de Ven
This project scrapes news articles of a selection of Dutch newspapers with different political ideologies and uses Pattern for Python to analyse the general sentiment of these newspapers when treating specific topics, like reports on political leaders, tv stars etc.
While developing this project Ruben realised that the lay-out and the position of the articles on the pages often revealed ideological choices as well. In a following version he would therefore like to start using css-styles as 'classifiers'.
